|Rowell Tan (born September 4, 1989) is a multidisciplinary visual artist base in Singapore. He has an interest in different aspects of design. His body of work revolves around experimental techniques with nature elements and often uses time-base methodology in the process.
In 2007, his first short film “Singapore Bagus!” won the first runner-up in National Day Video Competition, second runner-up in Action Film Fest Video Competition and third runner-up in YourFilm.sg Video Competition. His passion and flair can clearly be seen in the work that he has produced during the polytechnic and particularly in his final year project, “Painted Vision”, for which he garnered the “Best FYP” Award at graduation and broadcasted on MediaCorp okto channel. Across video productions, his image making artwork that he produced in degree has also been selected to showcase at Noise Singapore 2014 Festival and feature in publications. In the recent year, he has been working for companies to conceptualise and communicate design in the approach ranging from graphic to film.
